"We are only eyes and ears for our Border Patrol"

Flash Sharrar is the founder of the Yuma Patriots and John Minore, Attorney is also co-founder of the Yuma Patriots. We really need some support here in Yuma, Arizona. We need to get a voice out to America to help us.
We are a group of everyday people, moms and dads, grandmas and grandpas, sons and daughters trying to help our Border Patrol protect our borders. Our borders are not secure here. Our Border Patrol is doing their best to protect these borders; however, the job is very overwhelming. There is a vast area to cover and very few Border Patrol available. It is like one firefighter trying to put out a National forest fire alone in an 8-hour shift.
At least 3 times a week we go out and patrol for 3 hours. Flash is in contact
with the Border Patrol each time we go on patrol. We sit stationary atop a levy,
which borders the river and Mexico. We stand beside our vehicles with an American
Flag, unarmed. We are only eyes and ears for our Border Patrol.
What are they Afraid we'll find?
When we spot illegals coming in, the Border Patrol is notified. *We have been
banned by the Cocopah Tribal Leaders to patrol on the levy that borders over
three-miles of our country and Mexico, due to the fact the Cocopah state this
is their land as a sovereign nation. The tribe does not want the Yuma Patriots
there to watch the borders which is known, per our Border Patrol (off the record),
to have heavy traffic of drug smuggling, gunfire, Coyotes smuggling in the illegal,
and this area has had many robberies at gunpoint.
Flash and John Minore have asked to meet with the Cocopah Tribal members several times to explain what we are doing, and they refuse to speak to us. They will not give a reason why we are banned from the three-mile stretch of levy to help protect our borders. Our concern is what are they not wanting us to see or to report. Our concern is a three-mile open door.
Our concern is a heavy area of traffic, where the Cocopah do not want us. Flash and John have *met with the BLM*, (Bureau of Land Management), and were told that we are safe on the levy which belongs to the BLM. The Yuma Patriots are making a small impact trying to stop the illegals from entering at least three times a week, for a few hours. *Apparently, with this strong opposition we are hurting some business. Making it difficult for drugs to be smuggled in and the safe houses are not making their daily money that is charged to get the illegal through.*
Off the record/, Border Patrol here has thanked us. Told us we are awesome
and doing a great job. They tell us where hot spots are. They stop by and direct
us where and what to look for. However, can only tell us off the record. Whatever
we can do to help, we are trying to do. The Border Patrol in the field, know
we are not out there to cause trouble, but to be utilized as only eyes and ears.
Still doing the Job our Congress "refuses" to do...!
All we are doing is our duty as private citizen and that is to help protect our borders. Borders that are not secure in our Country. The United States Constitution, “We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.”
We need help to let it be heard in America we are trying to help secure our borders from illegal immigrants, drugs and terrorists from entering into our Country and now we are facing strong opposition from an Indian Tribe that does not want their border closed, which is in our United States of America.
Their land is the same land our soldiers are fighting to protect and have died for. *As a Border Patrol told the Yuma Patriots, her dad is over fighting in Iraq fighting the war on terror, and she is fighting the war on terror at our own borders right here in the United States of America.*
As of June 10, 2005, we found an article on the internet the *MS-13 is threatening
to shoot the Yuma Patriots* and have a miniature war on our borders.
We really need support here!
